At the end of September the School of Nursing and Midwifery held an open morning for colleagues from independent practice areas. Colleagues attended from various practice areas including nursing homes, hospices and schools for children with learning disabilities. The open morning was an opportunity for practice partners to meet with the school, to receive useful information about the school's courses and to learn about the benefits of providing practice learning opportunities. Colleagues also participated in a mentor update session.
The feedback from the event was that it was a really useful morning and should be repeated. The school will be holding another open morning in the next few months which will take place at the Eastbourne campus.
