Work-based learning (WBL)
WBL allows individuals to work towards a module whilst in the workplace. This is a negotiated form of learning, organised through a learning contract between the University of Brighton, the individual and their employer. The learning can focus on skills, role development and project work and involves elements of work-based assessment. WBL modules encourage the learner to explore their role and develop new ways of working. There are a range of modules offered in the continuing education division from level 2 to M level.
