Research study

The Centre for Health Research offers two different routes for doctoral study.

All postgraduate research students are members or honorary members of the University of Brighton Doctoral College. The Doctoral College champions a stimulating researcher development environment and connects the university's research community. Students and supervisors are given practical support to achieve high and timely project completion.

You may also be interested in the new Clinical Research MRes offered in partnership between the Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Research and the Clinical Research Centre for Health Professions. This course provides allied health professionals, midwives, nurses and other professionals currently working within a clinical environment with the skills and qualification needed to manage and undertake research in a clinical setting. The course also provides a platform for progression to doctoral level studies.
