HML product evaluation
The human movement laboratory offers state of the art resources and expertise for product testing, including functional, biomechanical or ergonomic evaluation. We can add value at all stages of the product development cycle ranging from an initial review of literature, to providing proof of concept, feasibility, prototype testing, and testing results for use in marketing literature.
Our resources and expertise can provide a wealth of information on the product or the product/user interface including measurements of:
- Forces (linear as well as rotational)
- Movements (including displacement, speed, acceleration, balance)
- Muscle activity, fatigue and strength
- Nerve function, nerve movement, pain threshold
- Metabolic rate and functional energy expenditure, oxygen uptake, heart rate
Please get in touch for a free and confidential initial consultation to discuss how our services may be of benefit to you and your organisation.
