This course is part of the Graduate Programme in Health and Social Sciences.
Module details
Students will take a total of six modules, which will comprise one research methods module, three core modules and two optional modules.
Core modules:
- Management of upper quadrant sporting injuries
- Management of lower quadrant sporting injuries
- Contemporary issues in sports medicine
- Research methods for health professionals
- Analysis of function
- Facilitating Continual Professional Development (CPD)
- Foot and lower extremity musculoskeletal pathology and clinical biomechanics
- Exercise and rehabilitation
Optional modules may also come from those listed above or may be other relevant modules from the Graduate Programme in Health and Social Sciences. In addition the following modules are available from the graduate programme in Chelsea School:
- Physiological profiling for the athlete/client/patient
- Health and performance profiling in sport and exercise science
- Exercise metabolism and environmental stress
