Learning environment

The school is based mainly in the Meads area of Eastbourne on the university's Darley Road campus, one mile from the centre of Eastbourne.

In addition we have a specialist podiatry clinic at the Leaf Hospital which is close to the centre of Eastbourne. The Darley Road campus is within easy walking distance of the sea and the South Downs (approximately 5 minutes).

The school has a dedicated Clinical Research Centre (CRC) which is based in the Aldro Building on the Darley Road site.

The school's teaching accommodation has been recently refurbished and is well equipped.

A modern, extensive library and computer centre is based in an adjacent building. Access to studentcentral, a web based learning environment, ensures that students' learning resource needs are well catered for.

Currently we have over 600 students, 50 academic and over 20 support staff.

The school has a reputation for the excellence of its teaching, its active research culture and for producing highly employable and adaptable graduates and postgraduates.

School staff pride themselves on being approachable, accessible and supportive to students.
