Study locations

The school is located on the Eastbourne campus, close to the sea and the South Downs. The majority of courses are taught in the Robert Dodd Building, which has recently been refurbished to provide students and staff with an up-to-date modern working environment.

Podiatry students spend substantial blocks of their time based at the Leaf Hospital, an exceptional clinical facility located close to the town centre and the station. Here students will learn practical skills and treat patients throughout their course.

As part of all our pre-registration degree programmes, students spend time on clinical practice placements. These will be based in hospital and community settings spread across the South East of England.

We have the following facilities on offer to our students and staff:

  • Specialist classrooms for practical skills
  • Leaf Hospital
  • Excellent IT facilities
  • Human Movement Laboratory
  • Daily Living Suite for Occupational Therapy practice
  • Clinical Research Centre
  • Manual Skills and Exercise Therapy Facilities
  • Numerous classrooms
  • Ward Hall Lecture Theatre
  • Queenwood library and the Media Centre
  • Greynore Restaurant

Nearby, students can also benefit from the use of the sports facilities, including a swimming pool, fitness suite, and a multipurpose sports hall. The Eastbourne campus also provides Students' Union facilities and activities and newly built halls of residences.
