Welcome message from our international activities coordinator
International students receive a warm welcome at the School of Health Professions. We hope that you will enjoy the friendly atmosphere of our school in the beautiful location of Eastbourne.
Education of healthcare professionals has many similarities, and also many differences, around the world, which makes studying alongside students from the range of countries we have at our school so exciting and interesting. Healthcare professionals face similar issues wherever they work but may use different approaches in their daily work. By learning from each other, students can find ways to contribute together to new knowledge and skills that can then be applied in the different context of your own countries.
Having worked in many countries and continents I know from experience that there are many highs but also some lows when living away from home. The university's student services department, your teachers and fellow students are all here to make your study with us enjoyable and rewarding. Do not hesitate to contact me via email R.Kuisma@brighton.ac.uk for further information or if you would like some tips on living and studying in Eastbourne.
We look forward to welcoming you to the School of Health Professions.
