A new masters-level research module Principles of Research (HE787) has been developed by the School of Health Professions. The module sits within the Graduate Programme in Health and Social Sciences (GPHSS).

This module explores fundamental issues underpinning the research process and explores the assumptions of qualitative and quantitative research in relation to the construction and creation of new knowledge. It critically investigates the nature of professional practice knowledge and its generation in practice, and how this relates to evidence-based practice.

The module will be delivered using a range of interactive learning and teaching strategies and can be taken as a single module or as part of a programme of study. Please visit our Graduate Programme in Health and Social Sciences webpages for further information.

To reserve a place, please contact Yvonne Mcgreal on 01273 643818 or Y.E.Mcgreal@brighton.ac.uk. For further information please contact Nikki Petty (module leader) N.J.Petty@brighton.ac.uk.
