The occupational therapy programme at the University of Brighton is very pleased to offer an opportunity for students to participate in an international occupational therapy experience. The university has developed rewarding relationships with the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, USA and Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.
First year students host visiting students during their 'Maximising occupational capacities' module which runs from February to April each year. During the second year students have the option of visiting either UWL or RGU during their spring break. All first year students have the opportunity to attend a three-way videoconference which provides an opportunity for lively discussions regarding occupational therapy practice between the three countries.
