The Clinical Research Centre for Health Professions is a vibrant research environment for staff and students and embraces research activities of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, podiatrists and osteopaths.

Research activity

Research activity within the Clinical Research Centre for Health Professions is focused into three groups: applied clinical and laboratory-based research; applied pedagogic research; and wellbeing, health and occupation research. Find out more about our research groups

Research study

We offer a range of research study opportunities, including part and full-time research study at PhD level as well as professional doctorate study for part-time allied health professional practitioners. Find out more about studying with the Clinical Research Centre.

Facilities

Staff and students have access to excellent research facilities and resources and dedicated technical support. The centre hosts a state of the art human movement laboratory.

Professor Ann Moore awarded International Service Award

Professor Ann Moore was awarded an International Service Award for Research by the World Confederation of Physical Therapists at the recent World Congress of Physical Therapy held in Amsterdam in June 2011.
