The Clinical Research Centre for Health Professions has substantial and significant links with various institutions throughout the world, health trusts and various agencies.
Within the Faculty of Health and Social Science it values its formal links, both in terms of academic supervision and research collaboration, via the Research Strategy Committee, with the active research centres of the Social Science Policy and Research Centre, the Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Research, the International Health Development Research Centre and the
Research Design Service South East (RDS SE).
Also, within the University of Brighton, the research centre values its research supervisory and academic links with the Faculty of Education and Sport (Chelsea School), the Faculty of Science and Engineering, the Faculty of Management and Information Sciences, Brighton and Sussex Medical School and the Centre for Learning and Teaching.
The Clinical Research Centre is now linked with the East Sussex Hospitals Trust and Dartford and Gravesham Hospitals Trust for Physiotherapy Consultant Mentorship purposes. Professor Ann Moore has been appointed mentor to the Consultant Physiotherapist at Eastbourne District General Hospital and to the Consultant Physiotherapist at Dartford and Gravesham Hospital Trust.
The Clinical Research Centre hosts the National Physiotherapy Research Network and also the National Council for Osteopathic Research.
