Faculty successfully wins two health research training awards

The faculty has been successful in two bids for funding from the National Institute for Health Research.

Clinical Academic Training Programme Internship programme:
Two physiotherapists and one nurse are currently completing the internship programme at the University of Brighton from September 2012 to March 2013.

MRes (Clinical Research):
Twelve fully funded places will be available for each of the next three years on the Clinical Research MRes course in the Faculty of Health and Social Science.

Professor Ann Moore elected President of Physio First Organisation

Professor Ann Moore has been elected President of Physio First Organisation. She hopes to raise the profile of Physio First among the profession. At the inauguration she said "It is a great pleasure and honour for me to have been asked to be your president. I have great affiliation with private practitioners as for 11 years of my career I was a full-time academic, a part-time private practitioner as well as carrying out my PhD."
