Xsens
The MTx miniature inertial 3DOF orientation tracker provides kinematic data, including 3D acceleration, rate of turn and magnetic data. By combining these, orientation output can be calculated in the form of Quaternion, Euler angles and rotation matrix formats.
We use our MTx sensors, in conjunction with the Xbus Master. The Xbus master is lightweight and portable, can control several MTx sensors, furthermore it can be wirelessly connected to a PC or PDA and is therefore very portable.
Example fields of use include biomechanics, ergonomics, sport and motion capture.
