Moulsecoomb conferences and meetings
Our Moulsecoomb campus is only two miles from Brighton city centre with excellent transport links from the city and plenty of free parking on site.
It is suited to residential conferences on a budget during the summer months, day meetings during vacation time, and evening seminars and lectures throughout the year.

Conference and meeting facilities
Lecture theatres and seminar rooms
On the Moulsecoomb campus we can offer:
- 13 lecture theatres seating 60 to 300.
- a hall seating 320, which can also be used as an exhibition space (293 sqm)
- 20 seminar rooms across the campus with capacities from 23 to 80.
Food and drink
We can provide a range of refreshments for your delegates, from light snacks to hot or cold buffets or full banquets. We use seasonal and sustainable fresh ingredients where possible and all our tea, coffee and sugar is Fairtrade.

Restaurants and cafés
There are two restaurants on the Moulsecoomb campus and one café bar.
Mithras Restaurant can accommodate up to 200 for a seated buffet and 150 in banqueting style.
Cockcroft Restaurant can accommodate up to 200 for a buffet, and the Watts Building has a small café area for refreshments.
Accommodation for residential events
There are 163 bedrooms available at Moulsecoombe Halls during July, August and September. The accommocation consists of split-level self-contained flats of up to eight single bedrooms with a wash basin in each. A kitchen, communal area and bathroom facilities are shared within each flat.
Our halls are available from July to September.

Accessibility
We do have classrooms and lecture theatres located on the ground floor that are suitable for wheelchair users, and inductions loops are fitted in some classrooms. Bedrooms especially adapted for wheelchair users are also available.
Travel
Trains
Moulsecoomb has its own train station which is a five-minute journey from Brighton on the Brighton /Lewes/Hastings line. Moulsecoomb Station is located just behind the halls of residence and is approximately 10-minute walk from the furthest teaching building.
Buses
There is a bus stop along the Lewes Road where several buses (city 10, 24, 25, 49; big lemon 42, 43, 44) run to/from the city centre.
Car parking
There is free car parking on site. The campus is on either side of the Lewes Road which runs between the A27 and Brighton centre.
