2012 is an exciting time for sport, find out how you can be part of the Olympic legacy. It is not all about the participating, Sport Makers make sport happen. From the sports write up in your local paper, the team photographer, the timekeeper or even the person updating the website, they are all needed to help make sport happen.
The Sport Makers programme has once again joined together with the University of Brighton to run three workshops for students and staff over various campuses during the summer term. It’s a great opportunity link in with the 2012 Olympics, develop your volunteering skills and also gain some free kit including an Adidas Sport Makers t-shirt and bag.
We will also be using these events to offer volunteering opportunities with our recreational Parklife and Active8 Programmes, so if you’re looking to increase your delivery skills and get some qualifications with it, then sign up! The University of Brighton has already deployed its first cohort of volunteers (pictured right), sign up to join them.
