University of Brighton Futsal star, Sam Murphy, will be pulling on the three lions again as his England team take on Switzerland in a double header.
Murphy is due to earn his 10th and 11th international caps against Switzerland in what has been a fantastic year for him since making his debut less than a year ago. This Friday (9th March) & Saturday (10th March) will see the England team take on Switzerland at the Point4, Hereford with both matches kicking off at 7.30pm.
All eyes will be on Peter Sturgess’ young Lions as they look to build on a tough trip to France which kick-started 2012 for the national team. Murphy has been an integral part of the team's improvement, earning rave reviews in the process.
Sam has a busy week of Futsal with the University Futsal Championships taking place in Sheffield on the 14 & 15 March next week. It will see the University of Brighton team take on the best teams in the country which include his England teammates. The University of Brighton is also represented in the Women's Championship and the Men's Trophy in Sheffield.
