
The new Parklife Programme was unveiled this week and compromises of 62 sport and physical activities across the University Campuses. Parklife is the University’s recreational sports programme looking to get you involved in sporting activity regardless of ability and without the commitment of regular training.

In addition to this we’ve got some great tournaments and competitions taking place throughout the first few weeks of term and we’re looking for teams to get involved
Sundays from 28th April – Eastbourne 9 a-side Football Knockout Cup - £10 per team
A straight Knockout Competition for the summer term at Hillbrow Sports Centre. Matches will be played every Sunday between 10:00am-3:00pm with winners progressing into the next round and the losers finding themselves out. For more details and to enter a team, click here.
Sunday 28th April – Brighton Touch Rugby Tournament - £5 deposit per team
A lazy Sunday turned into a great afternoon as the 7’s touch rugby tournament comes to the Falmer Campus. Enter mixed teams and take the summer crown and boasting rights for the year.

Wednesday 1st May – Eastbourne Dodgeball Tournament - £10 per team
Dodge, dip, duck dive and dodge your way to the title of ‘Best Dodgeball Team on the Eastbourne Campus’. To win, you must first get out of your group then beat the best of the rest. If you don’t, then it’s a battle for your overall ranking.
For the winners, the opportunity to take on the winners of the Brighton Competition from RaG week!
Wednesday 8th May – Brighton Ladies Day
The sun will hopefully be shining as our Falmer and Cockcroft Sports Centres play host to the first ever Sport Brighton ‘Ladies Day’. The event will give participants the opportunity to try out new and existing sports/physical activity on campus as well as take part in the 2nd Sport Brighton Zumbathon.
