Keynote Speakers
Gary Akehurst
Editor in Chief, The Service Industries Journal (SIJ)
Gary is a freelance management consultant, researcher
and author. He is also Adjunct Professor at RSM Erasmus University in
Rotterdam and an Emeritus Professor of Marketing of the University of
Wales.
Grant Hearn
Chief Executive Officer, Travelodge
Grant has a wealth of experience in the hotel and
travel industry; he joined Travelodge in March 2003 from the Hilton
Group where he was Managing Director for the UK and Ireland
Mike Stapleton
Corporate Affairs Director Compass Group UK
Mike has vast experience in the hospitality industry
with such companies as Hilton Corporation and has engaged in consultancy
and lecturing. He now develops and maintains external relations for
Compass and is on advisory boards in 12 universities.
