The recently published Destination of Leavers of Higher Education (DLHE) 2008-2009 report shows that an increasing number of School of Service Management graduates are in employment or going onto further study after graduating, despite the national average declining.
The results show that 97.47% of School of Service Management graduates are either employed, self employed or continuing their studies approximately six months after leaving. The School of Service Management is also ahead of the national average of higher education institutions which is 90.4%.
This further confirms the employability of School of Service Management graduates. The report comes after the National Student Survey (NSS) published last month highlighted the quality of teaching and facilities offered by the School of Service Management.
Dr. Paul Frost, Head of School of Service Management was delighted with the results. He said: “The latest figures on the employability of our graduates shows what the School of Service Management has worked so hard to achieve. The report confirms our graduates are talented and capable individuals who are much sought after in the job market”.
