I chose this specific degree course at the University of Brighton, as it was the only course at degree level in the UK to focus on just the travel side of the industry. As I draw near to the completion of the course, I can really say I have had such a fantastic time studying here.
The tutors have substantial knowledge and industry experience, with such drive and enthusiasm for the subject, while the school has strong professional links within the industry through its placement programme and with the regular use of guest speakers.
Not only have I been equipped with the knowledge and skills required to be successful in the dynamic and competitive travel industry, I have also been fortunate to gain first-hand experience through taking industrial placements with British Airways and NBC Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. It has been set in stone, with thanks to the School of Service Management, that the travel industry is where I aspire to be.
