Confectionary and souvenirs category planner for P&O Ferries
I am currently working as a confectionery and souvenirs category planner for P&O Ferries. My main responsibilities include replenishing the ships stock, placing new orders, chasing orders in to the business, processing invoices, assisting on board staff with any stock queries/issues, managing the onboard services mailbox, running and formatting weekly sales report.
I graduated with Retail Marketing BA (Hons) in 2010. Aside from achieving a degree and developing my academic knowledge at university, I gained invaluable insight in to different business sectors from tutors who had real experience working in the field. We were set numerous group assignments through out the course, which prepared me for the world of work and began teaching me about the importance of professional working relationships.
The School of Service Management was brilliant with regards to the turn around of essays, available contact time with tutors, seminar and lecture material that was available online, pleasant admin staff and general lecture structure.
Studying at university, no matter what discipline, teaches you motivation and self-discipline, and I graduated university feeling much more confident in my own abilities.
