Community choir

The university community choir is open to students and staff of all abilities, and meets at Steam House in Moulsecoomb.

Choir meets 1.15 - 2pm every Monday in term time.

As a member of the choir you get the chance to perform regularly, including an annual concert tour to France or Germany, and the Annual Christmas Carol Service at St Andrew’s Church, Moulsecoomb.

Music we have previously sung includes:

  • Elizabethan madrigals
  • Chorus of Enchanted Islanders – Handel
  • Rogers and Hammerstein Show Songs
  • Songs from Oliver
  • Chorus of the hebrew slaves – Verdi
  • Gershwin songs
  • Gaelic lullabys
  • Down by the riverside and other spirituals
