The following free wellbeing workshops are available throughout the year.
Bright n Confident!
This session is an introduction to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and will teach you some strategies to help you feel more confident in challenging situations.
Two sessions which focus on low moods and the impact of depression. The sessions include homework and techniques to help you understand and combat the symptoms and feelings of depression.
Stress and anxiety workshops
These two sessions help you understand stress and anxiety. You will consider the symptoms of stress and anxiety, and learn useful CBT techniques for managing those symptoms.
The Stress and Anxiety workshops are run with Sussex Partnership NHS trust's Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies team (IAPT).
The main benefit of the sessions is the opportunity for participants to share and listen to each other’s experiences.
Confidence and assertiveness
This 3-hour intensive session will help you develop self esteem and confidence and learn how inter-personal communication can be enhanced using CBT techniques.
Transform your Life
A programme of information and activities to develop and stimulate employability skills by building confidence and motivation, and improving communication skills. The skills and methods introduced can be used in many areas of life, not just for career enhancement.
