Stay fit
The university has a wide range of sports activities available for you:
- Brighton facilities include gyms, football pitches, floodlit courts, climbing wall, dance studio and a Health and Racquet Club.
- Eastbourne facilities include gyms, artificial pitch, swimming pool, climbing wall, dance studio and a sports hall the size of six badminton courts.
Students' Union clubs and societies
The Students' Union offer a wide range of clubs and societies, from drama to martial arts, to keep you both mentally and physically active.

- Register with a GP
- Check you are protected against Mumps and Meningitis C
- Drink plenty of water (two litres a day)
- Exercise regularly
- Check out groups and societies at the university
- Think about how you’ll get home before having a drink
- Practise safe sex
- Relax and sleep
- Eat a balanced diet
