What's included in the tuition fees?

The professional and applied nature of many of our courses can mean additional costs are involved. For example, you may need a health or criminal record check. Some courses involve the use of specialist materials and/or field trips. Where these costs are incurred as a mandatory requirement of the course they are included in the tuition fee.

These costs vary depending on your chosen course. You should seek advice regarding the additional costs that are covered by your tuition fees from the school providing your course, using the contact details provided on our course finder.

Additional course costs

During your studies you may incur further addition costs depending on the optional modules and optional activities you choose. For example, optional field trips or materials. These costs are not included in the tuition fee and you will need to pay these in addition to your tuition fee.

Please contact the school that delivers your course about possible additional costs before you apply to enable you to budget accordingly.

General study costs

Whatever course you study you should expect to have to pay some additional study-related costs on top of your tuition fees. It's a good idea to budget for books, photocopying and printing from the start of your course.
