Funding advice for US students

Applying for Federal Student Aid

If you are a student from the USA you may be eligible for a US federal loan. The University of Brighton is certified to administer Federal Aid. US loans are administered by the university’s Bursaries and Loans Team based on the Moulsecoomb Campus, Brighton.

Federal loans are provided by the US Department of Education. These loans usually offer lower interest rates and more flexible repayment options than loans from banks or other private sources:

The University of Brighton participates in the William D. Ford Direct Loan Programme for federal financial aid.

For more information about student financial aid see the Federal Student Aid website or call the The Federal Student Aid Information Centre on 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243)

Students studying outside of the USA are not eligible for PELL Grants or Perkins loans.
