Discount for University of Brighton graduates

If you are a former student of the university, you are automatically a member of our Alumni Association and may be eligible for a 10% discount on tuition fees for future courses, providing that:

• you are paying all of the course fees yourself and are not funded by, for example, a scholarship or your employer, and
• you are paying non-regulated fees, i.e. fees that are not limited by legislation (regulated fees currently include undergraduate degrees and PGCE courses).

Brighton Polytechnic graduates may also be eligible. Please contact the Development and Alumni Office to confirm your eligibility (alumni@brighton.ac.uk).

How to apply

To receive the rebate you need to complete a tuition fee discount schemes application form and send it to us before 1 November, or within 4 weeks of your formal start date if your course starts after 1 November. You need to do this for each year of your course.

Late applications will not be considered.

Discounts used in combination

The University of Brighton graduate discount and the early settlement discount can be used in combination. Both will be calculated from the gross fees due (i.e. the fees due before being discounted).
