Funding

UK and EU postgraduates starting in 2013

Most postgraduate students are not entitled to any statutory funding, and the majority are self-financing. Before you begin your course you should make sure that you have adequate funds to cover your living costs for the duration of your course.

There is additional funding available for social work and PGCE courses.

University of Brighton studentships

The university's Doctoral College administers postgraduate studentships for research degrees including

  • university-funded studentships;
  • funded case projects in collaboration with local and national companies; and
  • studentships obtained from UK Research Councils.
