UK undergraduate fees and funding

UK undergraduates starting in 2013

Full-time students

There will be no increase to undergraduate fees for UK and EU students in 2013. The tution fees for UK and EU students are £9,000 a year for most undergraduate courses at the University of Brighton starting in 2013.

You do not have to pay your tuition fees up front if this is your first degree. You can get a student tuition loan. You only start to pay back your student loan after you graduate and are earning over £21,000 a year.

Part-time students

The tution fees for part-time undergraduate courses depend on how many modules you take in a given year.

You do not have to pay your tuition fees up front if this is your first degree. If your course is at least 25% of the time of a full-time course you can apply for a student tuition fee loan.
