Pestalozzi scholarships
Two Pestalozzi scholarships will be awarded in 2009.
These scholarships, which are available for the three years of an undergraduate degree cover the full cost of tuition fees and also provide a financial bursary which meets half the recipient's living costs. Pestalozzi scholars will be expected to meet the rest of their living costs from paid employment.
Eligibility criteria
- University of Brighton Pestalozzi scholarships are open to students at the Pestalozzi International Village, Sedlescombe, East Sussex who wish to go on to higher education and who would not be able to do so without the support of the scheme.

- Pestalozzi students are all exceptionally able, having achieved high educational qualifications and shown a commitment to community service in their home countries. All have made commitments to return home and to assist in the social and economic development of their own countries.
