Full-time undergraduate student from an EU country
What funding is available
It is very important that you make sure that you have enough money to fund your studies before you begin your course.
European Union students are not eligible for UK student loans for maintenance, government grants, Hardship Loans or the Access to Learning Fund.
Tuition fees
Once you have applied for a place at university or college you can apply for help with your tuition fees.
From 14 February 2011, all students applying for full-time undergraduate courses can apply for student finance online via this website: Students Finance Services Europe.
Your fees will be paid direct to the university, but you must apply in good time (ideally by the end of June) to ensure that funding is in place before your course starts.
Bursaries and scholarships
Students from the EU are eligible for University of Brighton bursaries and University of Brighton scholarships.
The managing your money section of our website provides advice about typical living costs and expenses.
