Nursing diploma and Midwifery diploma students

There are special tuition fee and funding arrangements for nursing and other health courses. The university offers a set number of NHS-funded places. If you are offered a place on one of these courses your tuition fees will be paid for you by the NHS.

Nursing diploma and midwifery diploma students are eligible for non means-tested NHS bursaries and, depending on personal circumstances, may also be eligible for other allowances and grants.

Midwifery students who follow the third year BSc route are eligible for a means-tested bursary in that year. They are also eligible to apply for a student loan for maintenance and, depending on personal circumstances, may also be eligible for other allowances and grants.

University scholarships

Nursing diploma and midwifery diploma students at Brighton are eligible for University of Brighton scholarships.
