Pharmacy MPHARM(Hons)

I chose to come to Brighton because I'd heard the Pharmacy course was really good. I have a friend who is already doing the course, and my careers advisor recommended it. I did my A-levels in London and decided that I wanted to do my degree in a place by the sea and a bit more relaxed.

The course has reached my high expectations. We are studying a wider variety of subjects than I expected which is great. Also, from the very beginning, we have been doing hospital rounds and pharmacy visits – meeting patients and other health professionals. There's such a feeling of community to the course – a real sense that everyone is working together. Lecturers and other staff are always available.

I'm a student ambassador which means that I help out during open days and visit schools giving presentations about living and studying at Brighton to prospective students and their parents. After graduating I have to do a year of pre-registration training and exams that will enable me to register as a pharmacist in the UK.

I'm thinking about going home to Nigeria after I've gained some work experience here. My Brighton experience has been really good – I'd recommend Brighton to anyone.
