c-change champions

This year the c-change camapign has teamed up with Green Impact Universities and Colleges, a programme run by NUS. The aim of this collaboration is to offer a champion scheme full of fun, teamwork and ultimatley carbon reduction.

We are looking for staff and students from all areas of the university to sign up and help work through a simple workbook of criteria that help reduce carbon emissions. Many of the criteria are things you may already be doing, such as ensuring electrical items are switched off or buying recycled paper, but some might be new to your team, helping you reduce the environmental impacts your work has.

It is hoped that this scheme will not only minimise our overall carbon impact but will also give us a great opportunity to share best practice and really celebrate the success of our community.

The scheme is designed to be able to be done a small teams from geographic areas. What we're looking for is you and your team to sign up and see how many criteria you are already doing and how many you could incorporate into your normal working lives.
