Sustainability in nursing and midwifery

Sustainability means meeting our current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. 

As a result the School of Nursing and Midwifery (SNM) is committed to:

  • achieving sustainable working practices
  • delivering education about sustainability in healthcare
  • supporting research into sustainability in healthcare
  • encouraging staff and students to be responsible for sustainability within their professional practice

SNM Sustainability Group

Have you spotted the Traid Banks on Falmer campus? Together with TRAID you can stop your clothes going into landfill.  Instead your clothes will be recycled into new designs which can then be sold to fund development projects.
