Top ten tips to reduce paper

1 - Create an online version of your course / module handbook

Make each page link to the contents page for easy searching

2 - Create an online version of the student evaluation form

Using this method means the answers will be collated for you

3 - Provide student materials online

Easy to update the latest research and resources online

4 - Use ‘Aspire’ to manage your reading lists

Avoid printing journal articles or book chapters

5 - Provide student handouts online

Avoid the morning dash to the photocopier

6 - Reuse resources for more than one session

8 - Print large documents with 2 pages per page

Recycling

The School continues to make significant progress in recycling waste and reducing paper use.  Since the introduction of a new recycling bin scheme, the amount of waste now recycled has increased from 30% to 85%.
