Have your say - Further consultation and activities
There are a number of ways that all interested parties can stay closely involved with the development of the strategy in Wales.
Have your say – an on-line consultation. For those individuals and organisations that were unable to attend the consultation workshops we have provided an on line consultation facility for submitting views and information. This is available until September 28th 2007. Please click here for further details.
There will be an opportunity to comment on a draft version of the strategy which will be placed on the website. All those who attended a workshop or who submit material to the on line consultation will automatically receive email notification when the drafts are available. If you have not taken part in these activities but wish to be notified when the draft strategy is available please provide your details on the contact form
In order to prepare the strategy the University of Brighton team is now undertaking four further tasks:
- The collation and analysis of contextual documentation, plans and strategies
- The development of a Geographical Information System (GIS) for water related sport and recreation
- Further consultations through meetings and interviews with specific organisations
- The development of a draft strategy.
Some of these tasks will require the team to approach a range of interested parties for information and guidance. We hope those approached will be willing to contribute.
We are very grateful to all those who have already been involved in the consultation workshops. We hope you will stay involved in the development of the strategy that will act as important document in the development of water related sport and recreation in Wales.
