Do you have property to let?

No charges for letting, managing or marketing your property or room – work directly with our professional team and remove the uncertainty and expense from the letting process.

Our accommodation team are experienced housing professionals with a focus on providing the best possible customer service for our students and landlords.

We are committed to providing good-value rental accommodation and are always happy to work with landlords who can help us meet this goal.

From providing a property management service to free marketing of your property or room, we can tailor our services to your needs – we work with landlords across Brighton & Hove, Eastbourne, and the surrounding areas.

Ways to work with us

Unihomes

Rent your property through Unihomes – we offer a range of tenancy lengths, from 42 weeks (majority 48 weeks), with guaranteed rental income and monthly payments.

Unihomes are furnished properties that we lease from landlords and then rent to our students.

We will consider properties of all sizes for the scheme, but four or five bed houses are ideal for our needs. The accommodation must be of a high standard and situated close to good transport links.

Our management service is offered to owners/landlords for a minimal, non-profit making fee. As part of our management service, we carefully look after your property, check references, manage inventories, sort out maintenance issues, inspect properties regularly, and provide end-of-tenancy inspections and deep cleans.

Benefits of Unihomes

  • Guaranteed rental income throughout the contract
  • Professional management service: we charge a minimal non-profit making fee to cover our management costs
  • Fully flexible: we can tailor contract lengths and management arrangements to suit your individual preferences at no extra cost
  • Free, expert housing advice from our team of housing professionals and support from our community liaison service

Studenthomes

Studenthomes – market your property to our community of some 19,000 students for free.

Studenthomes is a website with message boards, maps and listings for private sector housing off-campus.

It’s very popular with students and a great way to advertise a room in your house or a self-contained property. It’s easy to register and there are no agency fees.

Benefits of Studenthomes

  • Free to register and advertise on our Studenthomes database throughout the year
  • Free, expert housing advice from our team of housing professionals and support from our community liaison service

Homestay

The Homestay scheme matches students with a local household, whether that be a family, single person or a couple.

We are always looking for new hosts to join the scheme as we have year-round demand.

The scheme is a popular choice for students, visiting academics and new staff; it gives an opportunity to live in a supportive home environment and can help ease the transition to the area. Both shorter and longer stays are welcomed.

Hosts are offered competitive rates for their service and can choose to offer students lodging on either a self-catered or catered basis. The university deals with room allocation and financial transactions on your behalf in advance of the stay.
