Efficient and robust wastewater treatment and management is a fundamental component of any wastewater network and some water supply networks. Optimising system performance and reducing process inefficiencies underpin resilient water resources management practices. As climate change impacts and expanding population hubs place greater stresses on water supply systems the need to innovate becomes ever more pressing.
The Centre for Aquatic Environments is an innovative, interdisciplinary and impact-driven research centre with internationally renowned academics. Following on from our inaugural event last year we are delighted that this year’s symposium will feature three leading global experts discussing contemporary innovations and innovation processes in wastewater management. Additional industrial experts will join the panel and enable ample opportunities for discussion. With networking during the event and the chance to learn more about the activities of the Centre, the event is relevant to water industry stakeholders, policymakers, planners, academics, and indeed anyone who is interested in the future of our water resources.
