Why take part in Mood Boost?

It might seem like everyone around you is having a good time at university. But many students, at some point or another, find themselves feeling stressed, depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, isolated or lonely.

Mood Boost will teach you techniques to help you manage your mental health.

  • Learn techniques based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Share your experiences and speak freely
  • Feel a sense of belonging and community
  • Sessions are led by students who receive training and supervision from a member of our Student Wellbeing service.

“The skills I learnt were very valuable and I continue to use them now whenever I feel stressed or low about certain things.”
