The Brighton and Sussex Centre for Medicines Optimisation (BSCMO) is an exciting venture that has been set up jointly by the School of Pharmacy Biomolecular Sciences (PaBS) at the University of Brighton (UoB) and Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust (BSUH).
The BSCMO will focus on:
- increasing our understanding of how to use medicines safely and effectively
- optimising medicines-related clinical practice
- facilitating the design, delivery, and evaluation of effective medicines-related education and ensuring that education is informed by clinical research.
The BSCMO is looking to collaborate with clinicians and scientists from all disciplines to help solve problems related to medicines use that will ultimately improve the patient experience.
