Stuart Brittle, Managing Director of specialist clinical waste contractor Medisort, joined the Sustainable Energy Profitnet group in June 2014. The company collects and sorts single-use instruments and nappies as part of the clinical waste that it processes.
As a result of the support he received, he has embarked on a project with the university to assess whether polymers in waste nappies can be recycled.
I was thinking about ways to recycle some of this waste into useful products. I presented my ideas to the group and the members helped me tremendously in developing my thoughts.

Keith Pordum, CEO of Bon Appetit, first joined Profitnet in 2008. He rejoined the programme in 2014 as part of the Manor Royal Group, where he has been encouraged to expand into the healthcare sector through a new digital marketing strategy. Profitnet members helped by suggesting more than 30 ideas to increase sales.
Through the support he received, Keith now works with both workplace and retail outlets, and has new clients as a result of the marketing strategy.
