Karina Rodriguez at K.Rodriguez@brighton.ac.uk.

3D suite

Our suite features imaging equipment, including 3D scanners, a Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI) acquisition dome, and digital photographic equipment.

We also count with high-end computers to post-process the data as well as a Virtual Reality (VR) headset to provide additional user interfaces to interact with the virtual content.

We can provide access to 3D printers, including fused deposition modelling (FDM) printers and desktop stereolithography (SLA) for the accurate reproduction of 3D models.

This equipment can be used for creating digital images and 3D models of a variety of objects and environments, such as artworks, architecture, design prototypes, engineering parts and body parts.
