Biomedical scientists are experts in human biological function who find new ways to cure and treat disease by developing new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. Scientists can be involved in pure research or support healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Underpinned by the work of pioneering researchers, specialist equipment and our enduring partnerships with public and private healthcare organisations, our Biomedical Science Degree Apprenticeship is an ideal grounding for those looking to move into biomedical research or practice.
