Momentum is a mentoring programme that pairs university students who wish to enhance their employability skills and confidence, with professionals who are able to share their experiences.

Becoming a mentor can help you gain insight and contacts through a structured programme. Mentoring roles are voluntary at the University of Brighton, in return we can offer support and training.

We are looking for people who:
University of Brighton mentors work with students who stand to benefit most and need support to unlock their potential.
Typically, these are students who are in need of a confidence boost, have a disability, from a minority background, are care leavers, or are in receipt of a bursary.
Mentors should be non-judgemental with a clear commitment to equality and diversity.
The 2016/17 Momentum programme starts in September 2016.
