Medicines Optimisation research is conducted by researchers from the School of Pharmacy Biomolecular Sciences at the University of Brighton and Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.
We focus on:
- increasing our understanding of how to use medicines safely and effectively
- optimising medicines-related clinical practice
- facilitating the design, delivery, and evaluation of effective medicines-related education and ensuring that education is informed by clinical research.
We collaborate with clinicians and scientists from all disciplines to help solve problems related to medicines use that will ultimately improve the patient experience.
