Our Education research generates knowledge that advances social justice and fosters critical understanding of learning and teaching in diverse cultures and complex worlds. We help shape future directions in practice and policy locally, nationally and internationally. We carry out innovative, creative and participatory research involving children, young people, adults, and those who work with them. Our research strands are focused around the following themes, each of which has been established as a new Research and Enterprise Group (see links above):
Children and young people’s education, rights and voice
Educators’ learning, development and working lives
Higher education pedagogies and policy
Narrative and biographical methodologies in education
