Radical Futures

Please enable targeting cookies in order to view this video content on our website, or you can watch the video on YouTube.

Through Radical Futures we harness disruptive ideas, open debate and progressive thinking to redress the inequalities and social injustices of the twenty-first century.

Our interdisciplinary approach aims to transform lives by challenging perpetrators of injustice, influencing policy and exploring radical ways to restructure our common world. Our research ranges from the provision of housing, water and energy for all, to examining political and social challenges to how we live. In collaboration with international partners, our work rethinks approaches and proposes radical solutions to the multiple crises of our time.

The University of Brighton is committed to supporting radical research challenging the perverse inequalities which structure our global lives. Imagining a better world for future generations demands that scholars from across disciplines question established conventions. Together we develop radical solutions to the environmental, political, financial and social crises which everywhere scar human life.
