Interdisciplinary Management and Higher Education research brings together three worlds of business research activity:
- interdisciplinary research and scholarship within the broad area of management practice;
- research into higher educational best practice and
- research at the interface with commercially-commissioned business intervention.
Our researchers provide consultancy; business intervention and contract research for large and small corporate clients along with government agencies and not-for-profit organisations. Within their own research fields, they conduct research both collaboratively and alone, generating articles and monographs for the business journal domain.
Interdisciplinary collaboration is key to our purpose and we connect disciplines ranging from accounting to e-curriculum design. Working within a lively business school, the forum for shared interest is the student experience, and how research might best inform and support the wide and diverse needs of our student body. Our researchers focus the impact derived from such shared interest through discussion, communication and collaboration.
